Rupert McKelvie has been working within the design industry for over a decade now. He trained in classical wooden boat building at Lyme Regis, and cabinet making, acquiring centuries old skills. At Falmouth University he was awarded a distinction in 3D design and sustainability. His studio & workshop, in the beautiful Teign valley on the edge of Dartmoor, brings together a talented team of craftsmen working on a wide range of commissions.

“Over the years we have worked with artists, architects, interior designers and private individuals. We treat every project with the same attention to detail to meet our clients exacting standards”.

“I’ve always loved the way that by working on the wood, the beauty of the grain and the texture are revealed, and what was inanimate is given form and function, a second life”.
